Earning toward status and bonus miles
MQDs on Delta Vacations
As of May 1, 2026, Delta says SkyMiles members earn $1 MQD per $1 spent on the eligible value of a completed Delta Vacations package booked through Delta Vacations direct or through an authorized travel advisor.
- All passengers in the booking can earn MQDs on the eligible flight portion of the package.
- The primary passenger who books the package may also earn MQDs on eligible nonflight components such as hotels, rides, cars, and activities.
- Group packages of eight or more travelers follow different rules.
- Delta's exact calculation depends on the package structure, eligible flight value, and how the booking is ticketed.
Bonus miles on flight + hotel packages
Delta also currently advertises bonus miles for eligible flight + hotel packages, with the primary passenger earning based on total package spend.
On eligible bookings up to $4,999
On eligible bookings from $5,000 to $9,999
On eligible bookings of $10,000 or more
Delta SkyMiles® American Express Card bonus miles
Delta also currently says eligible cardholders can earn even more bonus miles when using a Delta SkyMiles American Express Card with Delta Vacations.
