Jamie joined Travel & Cruise Desk in 2011 and became owner in 2019, continuing the agency's long-standing commitment to thoughtful, high-level service. Originally from Scotland, he brings a global perspective shaped by extensive personal travel.

Today, his focus is on supporting and developing a team of highly skilled advisors and maintaining the standards that define the Travel & Cruise Desk experience. He believes the strength of the agency lies in its people and in the expertise, care, and professionalism they bring to every client relationship.

Jamie also believes travel can be a force for good, both for the people experiencing it and the places it touches. His role is to help ensure the agency creates meaningful experiences while supporting a more thoughtful approach to travel.

Caitlin, our Client Concierge at Travel & Cruise Desk, is the heart of our office operations, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. As the initial point of contact for our clients, she combines a warm welcome with a wealth of knowledge, setting the tone for an exceptional travel experience.

Her dedication goes beyond the first interaction. She remains a steadfast support throughout the booking process, committed to helping each journey feel smoother from start to finish. Her family legacy in travel spans four generations, underscoring her deep-rooted passion for client satisfaction.

Caitlin is also Ambassador Chair for the local Chamber of Commerce, actively supports the Chamber, and is a proud graduate of the Lake Oswego Leadership Program. Her friendly disposition, organizational skill, and deep care for clients make her an indispensable part of the team.

Sandi specializes in curated luxury travel experiences, assisting her clients as their advisor, guide, and advocate. She began her journey in travel planning in 1972 overseeing corporate travel, then realized how meaningful it was to help clients build unforgettable memories with the people they care about most.

As the previous owner of the agency, Sandi led by example and helped establish the high standards that continue to shape the processes we have in place today. Her Certified Travel Counselor credentials, decades of luxury experience, and long-standing relationships with travel partners around the world have helped her design highly personalized itineraries for discerning travelers.

She especially enjoys customizing small-group and individual travel and enhancing pre- and post-cruise experiences for luxury cruise clients. Those partner relationships have also helped the agency secure strong pricing and added cruise benefits for many travelers over the years.

Melinda started her career in Arizona as a travel consultant in 1998. In 2005, she moved back to her hometown and joined the Travel & Cruise Desk team. While she loves assisting happy couples, families, groups of friends, and solo travelers with once-in-a-lifetime experiences around the world, a few destinations remain especially dear to her heart: Mexico, Tahiti, and Hawaii.

Melinda also specializes in Disney and various cruise lines, including achieving Commodore status with Princess Cruises. Time and money spent on travel are precious resources, especially when it comes to special occasions that stay with us forever.

Her goal is to enhance both the booking and travel experience and help ensure that every moment of your next trip is one you will remember for years to come.

Michelle began her travel career in 1995 and joined Julie's Travel Desk in 2003. While her first love is Ireland and the British Isles, she also greatly enjoys cultural and ecological travel experiences.

Michelle can turn her hand to nearly any type of travel, independent or organized, anywhere in the world, and she is equally comfortable with leisure, corporate, and group travel. In addition to Ireland and the British Isles, her travels include Vietnam, Thailand, Zimbabwe, Peru, Mexico, Hawaii, Fiji, and the Cook Islands.

She loves helping clients create meaningful travel memories wherever they wish to go.

The goal to make people's dreams come true is the reason Hollis first entered the travel industry, and that reason has never changed. While she has handled travel arrangements for destinations all over the world, she now focuses primarily on cruise vacations, plus land-and-sea journeys to Hawaii, Alaska, and Australia/New Zealand.

Cruising has been her first love for nearly 40 years, and she has earned her ECC certification with CLIA. Her personal cruise experience includes more than 135 voyages ranging from riverboats to mega ships and nearly every style of vessel in between.

Her other specialty areas include Hawaii, Alaska, and Australia/New Zealand, where she also earned Aussie Specialist certification. Her travels span the British Isles, Europe, Fiji, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, making her a particularly strong guide for travelers with cruise-heavy wish lists.

Nathan began traveling in college while studying Religion and Biology, and his focus has always been on the religion, history, culture, art, architecture, environment, and ecology of a region as a way of gaining insight into the lives of local people.

He has spent years working, studying, and traveling throughout the world, especially in Europe, India, and Southeast Asia. He prides himself on creating exceptional experiences in remote or more complex destinations, especially for travelers who want authentic access without sacrificing elegant accommodations and outstanding cuisine.

Over the years, that interest grew into a career focused on real-world experience in a luxury setting. Nathan has been named a Conde Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialist each year from 2023 through 2026, and in 2026 he received national recognition with the Luxury Travel Excellence Award from the American Society of Travel Advisors.

Jennifer began her professional travel journey in 1996, but her love for travel started much earlier. In addition to being a self-proclaimed Disney addict, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States and in more than 13 countries.

She loves cruising, National Parks, the Hawaiian Islands, and Victoria, BC. She is also an experienced international business travel specialist and is especially strong with groups and corporate travel, providing travelers and companies with customized itineraries and detailed guidance for all of their travel needs.

Her travel motto says it best: to travel near and far as often as possible, because travel changes, challenges, teaches, and feeds the soul.

Not only is Brogan an accomplished wedding photographer and seasoned traveler who has gallivanted all over the world, she is also a certified romance travel advisor and now leads our destination wedding and honeymoon division. After her own destination wedding, planned by Travel & Cruise Desk, she started thinking about how much she could bring to the experience for other couples.

Since completing her romance travel training and certification, she has assisted many couples with their own honeymoons and dream destination weddings in Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, and beyond. Her firsthand wedding industry experience gives her a strong instinct for both logistics and emotion.

Brogan believes that being a wedding photographer and travel advisor combines two of the greatest loves of her life, and that passion shines through in every celebration she helps create.

Mia Bell brings a rich tapestry of global travel experiences to Travel & Cruise Desk. Her passion for feeling like a local, enjoying allergen-friendly cuisine, prioritizing wellness, and seeking authentic cultural encounters drives her to craft deeply personal journeys. With a degree in International Studies and fluency in Spanish, her curiosity about diverse cultures shows up naturally in the trips she helps shape.

Her travels span the United Arab Emirates, Finland, Spain, Argentina, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Africa, and across the continental United States. A life-changing trip to Africa deepened her passion for the continent and reinforced her specialization in Africa and safari travel.

Her travel philosophy is simple and memorable: eat well, stay well, and make precious memories. Gail started in the travel business in 1976 and spent the majority of her career at Curtis Travel, including 10 years as co-owner before joining Travel & Cruise Desk. Her own travels include all 50 states and 40 countries across five continents, with Australia remaining a favorite.

She has also traveled extensively throughout the United States and enjoys helping clients explore wonderful destinations closer to home. Gail is multitalented, and in addition to helping make travel dreams come true for clients, her excellent attention to detail supports the agency's back office as bookkeeper extraordinaire.

Michelle has worked in both wholesale and retail travel over the last 20 years and is a Certified Travel Associate. Her extensive travels include the Hawaiian Islands, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe, with particular experience in Italy, Switzerland, France, and Germany.

She also spent a month trekking through Kathmandu, Nepal, Thailand, and Darjeeling, India, adding still more perspective to the trips she helps clients plan. Michelle would love to help arrange your dream vacation to the sun, snow, or sea.

As Preferred Supplier & Cruise Coordinator, Crystal plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with many of our most valued travel partners and cruise lines. With a keen understanding of the industry and a sharp eye for detail, she helps ensure our clients have access to exclusive offers, strong supplier support, and memorable travel experiences.

Gayle joined us from Uptown Landing Travel in Portland. As a seasoned advisor specializing in upscale cruises, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for luxury travel to every client interaction.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the luxury cruise market, Gayle excels at curating bespoke cruise experiences for discerning travelers.
